Again the new Irezumi Champion ! Wicca (Irezumi Vinho Branco) was yesterday placed as 2nd best bitch with CC and cacib
at the INTL show in Turku. After having her last CC she got the Champion titles of Finland and Sweden. Congratulations !

Our own dogs took yesterday part into the group show in Kokkola with the excellent results:

It is a pleasure to put this news here as the first news of this year: Saura (Irezumi Vinho Verde) achieved
her last CC yesterday at the INTL show in Kajaani. Now she is the Finnish Champion !
The judge Mr. Harri Lehkonen (FI) placed her as BOB with CC and CACIB.

Yesterday at the INTL show in Tornio Saura got 'excellent' from the judge Lars Adeheimer (old man from Sweden).
Today at the INTL show in Helsinki Wicca achieved BOB with CC and cacib. The judge was Espen Engh from Norway.

The great show weekend is now over. The best result achieved Manu (Irezumi Moinho de Vento) yesterday at the INTL show
in Piteå, Sweden: BOB with CC and cacib -> SE CH + C.I.B. ! Congratulations Manu & co. ;-)

There were two INTL show here in Oulu. Yesterday the podengos were judged by Raisa Savander (FI) with the results of:

Today at the INTL show in Rovaniemi podengos were judged by Mrs. Lessi Chistyakova from Russia.
She was very interested in podengos and told she has judged podengos in some other countries, too.
She gave proper and long judge's critiques and also discussed about the breed with me.
The results were as sunny as the weather at the polar circle in Rovaniemi:

It has been one month since last updating here. During that month has happened a major thing:
I have moved to the northern Finland with my podengos and we live nowadays in Ylikiiminki (near Oulu).
Irezumi podengos Wicca (Irezumi Vinho Branco) and Vilpertti (Irezumi Abrigo de Vento) took part into INTL
show last weekend and they both were successfull: Wicca BOB in Lahti INTL and Vilpertti BOB in Lappeenranta INTL
show. Congratulations to they both ;-)

Irezumi Moinho de Vento 'Manu' has achieved Estonia Champion title at the last weekend. Congratulations !
Irezumi Vinho Branco 'Wicca' was placed as BOB puppy at the puppy show again. Congratulations !
Irezumi Nascer do Sol 'Oliver' was showed at the podengo specialty in Portugal by his owner Mimori.
He was placed 2nd at the open class males (9 pcs) and got the res-CC. We were at the show place, too.

Due to the separation of the breeders Tuija and Petri there will be some major changes at Kennel Irezumi.

Oliver (Irezumi Nascer do Sol) has won BOB at the INTL show in Tampere among 23 small w-h podengos.
At the year meeting of the Finnish Podengo club the Podengo of the year 2009 competition's results were published:
Oliver won the whole competition and was naturally also the best small w-h podengo 2009 !!! Congratulations !!!
His father Gizmo was the 2nd best small w-h podengo right after Oliver and placed 3rd at the Podengo of the year 2009
competition.
Jarra won 3rd third time the Best Veteran competition.
